Hi, we're Veillant. This Cookies Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our website and in the Service, as part of our commitment to transparency described in our Privacy Policy. We keep our use of cookies minimal and do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small data files stored by your browser or device that help a website function and remember your preferences. Similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) work in comparable ways. Some are essential for the site to work; others enhance your experience.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary: authentication & session. Required to sign you in and keep your session secure. We use a session token (JSON Web Token) set by our authentication layer (NextAuth). Without it you cannot stay logged in.
Essential security. Tokens that protect against cross-site request forgery and abuse.

Interface preferences are not cookies here. Your theme, accent colour and interface language are stored in your account on our servers, so they follow you to any device you sign in from.

Local storage in your browser. When you are signed in we keep a few interface details on your own device so the panel behaves the way you left it: whether the sidebar is expanded, whether you have dismissed the guided tour, and whether you have confirmed your call forwarding on that device. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.

3. What we do not use

We set no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, we run no website analytics product at all, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.

What we do set is limited to what is technically necessary for the Service to work, which is why we do not ask for cookie consent. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before setting anything that is not technically necessary.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings (most browsers let you block or remove them). Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.
